Basin Flower Farm was started in 2020 by Lauren Trible. She never dreamed of being a flower farmer but grew up immersed in the floral industry. Her mother owned the local floral shop and her father owned a landscaping business. When the pandemic hit, Lauren stumbled upon the slow flowers movement and started listening to and reading as many flower related podcasts and books as possible. She was intrigued and excited by the idea of locally sourced and American grown flowers. After digging in, literally and figuratively, she realized she had found her passion. She hasn't looked back since digging up her yard that Spring and has continued her pursuit to grow breathtaking blooms by taking the Floret Online Workshop in 2021. She is excited for her journey forward and hopes to grow the business as a farmer/florist supplying Rochester locals and the surrounding area with locally and organically grown specialty cut flowers.

Typically in the winter we will be making wreaths and arrangements from locally sourced evergreens and dried florals from our farm. Fresh arrangements will be made using sustainably sourced flowers grown in the USA.
